On Tuesday 8th July a team of 20 children - 19 from Year 4 - made up mainly from children who attend Athletics club, created 5 teams of 2 boys and 2 girls to take part in an inter school competition. The children had to compete in every event and collected points for the times and distances they achieved. They took part in shot put, javelin, standing long jump, hurdles, sprint and events called 5 stride and high jump. The children really enjoyed themselves and performed excellently. 

We are very proud to say that we came away as the overall winning school and we also got gold medals for the highest scoring team of four (Piper, Emily, Duke and Thomas). A huge well done to all who took part. I hope to see them all at Athletics club next year!
