The Local Authority has recently held a poetry competition where pupils from all Rochdale primary schools were invited to submit poems around the theme of wellbeing. Poems written by Willow and Saima were selected by judges from the British Library to be published in an E book. At a poetry event hosted in Rochdale Library, both girls were invited to read aloud their poem before receiving a certificate and poetry book from the Mayor of Rochdale.
