Huge congratulations go to Max and Piper, who have been elected as Rochdale Children's Champion and Deputy Children's Champion, along with two other candidates from other local schools. The Children's Champion and Deputy Champion are the voice for children in Rochdale and campaign on issues that will improve Rochdale. Max and Piper have had to go through an intense process to get elected that included an application form, group interview and campaign video. Nine children got through to the final stage, including Max and Piper, and over 10,000 children voted in the election. Max and Piper will hold their roles for a year and will support community events. Well done to you both – we are immensely proud of you and know you will do a fabulous job of representing the children of the borough.
