As part of our RE topic on Islam, Year 5 had the wonderful opportunity to visit Neeli Mosque. The visit helped us deepen our understanding of the Islamic faith and explore key features of a mosque. We learned about the importance of Wudu (ritual washing), observed the prayer area, and even had the chance to try on traditional clothing and practise some prayer movements. The children were respectful, curious, and thoroughly engaged throughout—what a fantastic way to bring our learning to life!
