As part of our Rivers topic we went to take a closer look at our nearest river, Naden Brook. We observed the movements of the water, shape of the valley and human impact. We looked at a small tributary and took measurements for depth and width so we could compare how it changes as it moves down stream. We also times our ducks to monitor the speed of the water. The weather was very kind and the cool water was welcome. We took a break in the park too.
