Year 6 took a trip back in time when they became WW2 evacuees for the day. The children spent time at Bury Art Gallery looking artefacts discussing what the were used for. They then moved on to Bury Transports Museum where they had the chance to go in an air raid shelter and look at money from the 1930-1940’s. The day was finished with a trip on the East Lancs Steam Train to Rawtenstall where the children were picked up by their new families! A brilliant day was had by all. The children were a credit to the school and the year 6 staff were incredibly proud of them. Well done Year 6!
